They divorced when Courtney was 7 years old and she lived with both parents in different phases. Jennifer, her older sister, works as an executive in the field of advertising. She was a student at Menlo-Atherton high School as well as Tamalpais High School. She performed with the Ensemble Theater Company while she was attending highschool.
